Dr. Jim Sterling, D.O.

 
 

Dr. Sterling is originally from Kansas and has made Texas home since attending college at McMurry University in Abilene.

From his first exposure to medicine at the age of 20, he knew he wanted to be a Family Medicine doctor. He received his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center (TCOM) in Ft. Worth, graduating in 1989. After completing residency in Family Medicine at John Peter Smith Hospital in Ft Worth, Dr. Sterling moved with his wife and two children to College Station where he has practiced with Baylor Scott & White until joining Doc.

Dr. Sterling is an established and skilled physician, board-certified in Family Medicine, who practices full spectrum family practice, driven not only by his passion for medicine but also by the bonds he builds with his patients and the enjoyment he holds in keeping them healthy. In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Sterling is involved in medical missions donating his time and expertise in impoverished areas of Mexico, Peru, Uganda, and Vietnam.

He and his wife are involved at Grace Bible Church they enjoy travel, especially to visit their kids and 3 grandsons. In his spare time, he enjoys building guitars.
