Kristine Faldik, FNP

Kristine began her career in healthcare as an emergency department nurse in 2012 before becoming a Nurse Practitioner in 2016. She attended Texas A&M University for her undergraduate education and earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler.

She continued her career in emergency medicine as a Nurse Practitioner, spending seven years in the emergency department before transitioning to urgent care in 2023. Her experience in acute care has given her a strong foundation in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of medical conditions. After nearly a decade in emergency and urgent care medicine, she made the decision to transition into primary care, where she could spend more time with patients and take a more active role in their long-term health.

One of the most rewarding aspects of Kristine’s time in urgent care was hearing patients ask if she could become their primary care provider. Those experiences helped inspire her decision to join DOC Healthcare, where she looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients. Kristine believes in taking the time to listen, understand the root of patients’ health concerns, and help them feel informed and confident in their healthcare decisions. Her goal is to provide thoughtful, individualized care that supports both immediate concerns and long-term health.

A Bryan resident since 2006, Kristine is proud to call the Brazos Valley home. She and her husband, Derek, who works for Brazos County 911, share their home with two very loved and very spoiled dogs. They enjoy traveling together, especially when their adventures include hiking or skiing. Closer to home, Kristine enjoys spending time in her garden, where she has developed a particular interest in Texas native plants and creating pollinator-friendly landscapes.
