William H. "Trey" Lovett, III, MMS, MPH, PA-C
William H. "Trey" Lovett, III, MMS, MPH, PA-C, has dedicated his career to compassionate patient care, bringing a wealth of diverse experience to every interaction. Trey, his wife, and their two children (as well as their dog, cat, sugar glider, and irascible hedgehog!) have made Bryan their home, where he is also an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Trey's educational journey began at the University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. He further refined his expertise by obtaining a Master's degree in Public Health with an emphasis in International Health and Epidemiology from the University of Alabama Birmingham, and a Master's in Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
After a few years work in emergency medicine and urgent care, for over a decade he worked in family medicine at the Baylor Scott and White Salado clinic, forming strong bonds with his patients. More recently, since 2019 until starting with Doc Healthcare in June 2025, he had worked with the excellent physicians at Central Texas Gastroenterology Consultants, helping patients navigate complex gastrointestinal health challenges.
His extensive background also includes valuable time in infectious diseases and laboratory research, and he proudly served for many years as a Captain in the Texas State Guard Medical Brigade. Beyond his domestic work, Trey's passion for health took him across the globe, with involvement in HIV and malaria research projects in Zambia and Peru, respectively. Now, we're thrilled to say, Trey is bringing his incredible skills and compassionate care to Doc Healthcare!
